Carefully crying
Long and deep sighs
Unhappy
A world so good
Filled with war and hatred
Sadness
Beyond understanding
Yet still loving
Life
The need to survive
Burning
Seething in agony
Still wanting to love
And to be loved
What world
Could this be?
Whose world is this?
Still crying
Wanting a soft caress
A smile
An understanding nod
Why not laugh
This misery is wasted
A strength of being
Is growing from within
Patience and knowledge
Shall easily bring
Peace
Ah, a smile, a kiss
Love and understanding
Happiness even now…
